Rob is the owner and head bench jeweler at My Jewel Shop, Inc., where he has been designing and crafting custom jewelry for 31 years. In 1999, Rob became sole owner of the business, moving the store to their expanded location in the heart of Jenkintown. Over the years, his talent allowed his reputation to grow among customers and peers alike. Rob loves to work in gold, but is equally adept at silver, platinum, and other popular alloys. Rob has trained and influenced jewelers working in his shop, always exemplifying and maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. Rob was born in Providence, Rhode Island, to the costume jewelry business, coming to the Philadelphia area for his Masters Degree from Tyler School of Art. Rob is rewarded on a daily basis by the satisfaction of working with his customers. In 1988, Rob was recognized by the jewelry industry with the prestigious “Craftsman of the Year Award,” from the Pennsylvania Retail Jewelers Association.

Linda joined My Jewel Shop, Inc. in 1976, working part
time in the Center City and Jenkintown locations in sales and design. Linda’s immediate passion for diamonds and gemstones led her away from the Allied Health field, becoming a full time member of the My Jewel Shop family, in 1978. Her knowledge is based on years of experience and courses from the Gemological Institute of America, with expertise in diamonds, colored gemstones and pearls. Married to Robert Stewart in 1977, together they became instrumental in the success of My Jewel Shop, Inc. Linda’s contributions to the business include sales, custom design, appraisals, inventory control, and maintaining the logistics of the business. One of the highlights of the business for Linda is the rapport she has with her loyal customers who appreciate her high ethical and moral standards.
